Agroforestry plants native canopy trees alongside food crops on smallholder land. The carbon outcome and the household income come from the same hectare — and the farmer is paid for both.

Forest and food.

Smallholder farms get native canopy species — mahogany, cedar, breadfruit — alongside cocoa, coffee and beans. 820,000 trees planted across 1,800 farms. Households gain shade, soil recovery and a second income stream.
