Arrive by car, or take the train to Stone Crossing and a short walk through Kent countryside down to site.
Light refreshments and snacks in the office on site as the team gets settled and the day's plan is laid out.
A short briefing on the Dartford project: species mix, why this site, how every tree is GPS-tagged and reported.
2–3 hours of practical planting either out on the site or in the nursery. This depends on the season and weather.
A guided walk through the new woodland and other green initiatives on site, with more refreshments before departure.
Atlas Park is More Trees' UK flagship: new native woodland and community space on the edge of greater London, run with our planting partner Time4Trees.
Year-round access works thanks to the on-site Time4Trees nursery: in summer, planting days run in the nursery; through winter the team gets straight into the ground.
Drop your details and we'll send the full Atlas Park Planting Day pack: site detail, schedule, photography and the two-tier package breakdown, then line up a call to walk through a date.
