Native woodland that creates real impact.

Atlas Park is built around two priorities: long-term native broadleaf canopy, and community visibility for the city it serves.

Native broadleaf

Native broadleaf canopy.

A 15+ native species mix is creating a new woodland on reclaimed land beside the Dartford Crossing in Kent. The site is accredited under the UK Woodland Carbon Code, with over 240,000 square metres of land restored to date.

Visibility

Community visibility.

Millions of people drive past Atlas Park every year without knowing what it is. The site sits beside the Dartford Crossing, in clear view from the QEII bridge on the M25, and it used to be degraded land. It is now green space roughly the size of 34 football pitches, bringing woodland and open habitat to a corner of Kent that had little of either.

It's one thing to fund a tree thousands of miles away. It's another to bring your team out for the day and get your hands dirty in a woodland they can help plant.
